History & Description

Shibori is a traditional Japanese fabric-dyeing technique in which the fabric is folded, sewn, or tied before being dyed. No two pieces of fabric are exactly alike.

Designed by Cecile Au Zen:

– Size: 50 cm x 50 cm
– Color: indigo blue
– Care: machine wash on gentle cycle with mild detergent
– Each piece is one-of-a-kind

Production time:

Several hours of handcrafted work, divided among setting up the shibori (sewing and tying), textile printing, and rinsing and drying times.

Ingredients:

– 100% cotton, 180 g/m²
– Hand-dyed with indigo
