Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern sales made through the website cecileauzen.ch, operated by:

The products offered are original textile art creations. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions without reservation.
2. Products
The products are described and presented as accurately as possible.
Each textile creation is handcrafted as a one-of-a-kind piece or in a limited edition.
Natural variations in texture, weave, color, or dimensions may occur and do not constitute a defect.
The photographs are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not binding.
3. Price
Prices are listed in:
- CHF for Switzerland
- EUR for the European Union (if applicable)
[Not subject to VAT pursuant to Section 10 of the VAT Act]
Shipping costs are displayed before the order is confirmed.
4. Order
The order is considered final when the customer clicks the button that explicitly states the obligation to pay.
A confirmation email is sent to the customer.
The seller reserves the right to refuse an order in the event of a prior dispute or non-payment.
5. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon placing the order.
Payments are made via:
- Stripe / PayPal
Transactions are secured by the relevant payment providers.
6. Delivery
Products are shipped to the address provided by the customer.
Estimated timeframes:
- Switzerland: 7 business days
- European Union: 7 business days
For shipments outside Switzerland, customs duties, local taxes, or import fees may apply. These are the sole responsibility of the customer unless otherwise specified.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU customers only)
In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers residing in the European Union have fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason for their decision.
The cancellation must be notified by a clear statement to: contact@cecileauzen.ch
The product must be returned no later than fourteen (14) days after notification.
The customer is responsible for the direct return shipping costs.
The refund will be issued within fourteen (14) days of receiving the item or proof of shipment.
8. Exception – Customized Products
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- custom-made designs
- products customized to the customer's specifications
- works modified at the client's request
9. Depreciation of the property
Under European law, the consumer may be held liable if they handle the item in a manner that goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.
In the event of deterioration, alteration, staining, warping, odor, or damage affecting the artistic or physical integrity of the work, a deduction proportional to the loss in value may be applied.
If the item is returned in a condition that makes it impossible to resell, a refund may be denied.
10. Original Work – Copyright
The works on display are unique, original creations.
The purchase of a work does not entail any transfer of copyright, reproduction rights, or exploitation rights.
Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
11. Warranty
For customers in the European Union, the statutory warranties of conformity provided for under the applicable law of their country of residence apply.
In Switzerland, the warranty is governed by the Swiss Code of Obligations.
12. Liability
The seller shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or damages resulting from misuse of the product.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
In the event of a sale to a consumer in the European Union, the mandatory provisions of the consumer’s country of residence remain applicable.
Legal jurisdiction: Vaud, Switzerland.
