Handcrafted fabric, linen, cyanotype, Prussian blue, wreath of butterflies

Butterfly Wreath

Created using the cyanotype process—an ancient method of creating images with light—this work reveals the plants in deep shades of blue. Here, the delicate silhouettes of the butterflies form a light wreath on the linen, like an imprint suspended between nature and light.
