In Japan, the furoshiki is much more than just a piece of fabric: it is a way of wrapping, protecting, and thoughtfully presenting a gift.

Through its folds and knots, it transforms the act of wrapping into a genuine gesture of care, reflecting the importance placed on the recipient.

This furoshiki is handmade using the traditional shibori technique, a Japanese art of tie-dyeing. The fabric is folded, tied, pleated, or compressed before being dyed, creating unique patterns that are revealed when the fabric is unfolded.

Each piece thus bears the mark of the artisan’s touch and is unlike any other. Reusable and poetic, it extends the joy of giving: a carefully crafted presentation, for a gift that comes from the heart.
