Created after I returned from Japan, this one-of-a-kind piece showcases the beauty of shibori through a hand-crafted floral pattern.

This cotton scarf features a floral pattern created by hand using the Japanese Hana Koshi Shibori technique.

The pattern is created through meticulous folding and resist work on the fabric, which is prepared before being immersed in a mint green dye bath. This resist dyeing method gradually reveals the floral shapes and nuances of the pattern, giving each scarf a unique character.

Made from a natural, breathable fabric, this cotton scarf is comfortable to wear every day. Unlike synthetic fibers, cotton feels soft and natural against the skin.

Production time:

Several hours of handcrafted work, divided among shibori preparation, dyeing, rinsing, and drying.
