The fern is an ancient plant that appeared long before flowering trees. It has endured through the ages with remarkable discretion, often thriving in the undergrowth, where the light is softer. It thus evokes a kind of quiet strength: one that does not need to assert itself to exist, that finds its place and knows how to return with the changing seasons. It thus becomes a beautiful symbol of perseverance, renewal, and the ability to adapt. It is this fern, with its delicate fronds and their almost graphic pattern, that was chosen for this cyanotype print—as a reminder that strength can also be found in gentleness.
