This journal was born out of my habit of collecting, day by day, phrases that touch me—a quote, a few words gleaned from a book, a thought I don’t want to let slip away.

If this one were to find its way into my suitcase, I’d take it to Tuscany—for its rolling hills, its cypress trees, its olive groves, its golden light, and its gentle way of life.

It’s up to you to choose where it will take you…

Designed by Cecile Au Zen:

– Size: A5, 192 pages

– Each notebook is one-of-a-kind

Production time:

Several hours of handcrafted work, divided among preparing the textile print, exposure, rinsing and drying, and finally assembly.

Ingredients:

– 100% cotton fabric
– Dyed using the cyanotype technique by exposing ferric salts to sunlight
– Appliqué embroidery
– Wax-finish coating over the entire blanket
